FIXIE FARTS

Today Amy & I biked into the wind around burb trailway system. The ride included a coffee shop stop. It was nice to chat without ciaos of offspring within earshot. I used that FIXIE prize from Hilside PUGSLEY series win. That sounds odd. Here's something else odd, how do you FART on a fixie? Unless you really really gotta rip.....relaxing long enough on a FIXIE is a challenge. Is it just me? ha ha ha another thread too!! No wonder true blood fix crowd are in a fearless brakeless hurry.....gotta get home!!

Comping Motivation if I write it...

Hate trainers. Not counting hotel use on business travel, my lifetime acheivement on-trainer as of today is 6.9 hrs. 6.5 of those hrs 2008 hours!! What's interesting is finding actual interest for convenience, as a barometer of readiness, for recovery, to aid in focus, to reduce binge eating, ergo movement, & to target known performance weakness. Today a consistant, high resistance trainer session w/ease let me know, recovered. Either recovered or fiberous compensation, regardless, sense positive change. Eager to go outside & ride w/ pa pa pa purpose again......c ya out there

Wind Cries Mary

Dang, great to see my Misfit Psycles 29'er again. Took it out today, freaked as it's puny compared to Pugsley. Thought I'd fly but no go. The wind varied between 15 to 25mph. The hill route made me cry Mary. Don't think the wind remembered me. SS 36x17 29'er not so threatening but after recent multi-hour pug rides, being early season, it was all I could do to bag 2 hours. Good ride for mental retard toughness, stale, better watch it.

Another Snow Day at Hillside

7 LCR folk all with PUGS groomed then lapped it triple total each. Bamm. By the way last nights show was all good. The new singer sounded much like old.

it's a revelation, the next generation..... It made no sense to ride 3+ hrs PUG, on man made surface, BEFORE a big snow storm, so we did. Riccoh no? 2-pin no longer big V to long slog pain. Quote of day 60% in, "it feels like my legs are bleeding inside." 2-pin first to see a R.S. previously top secret route w/25+ hills. Best part was agreement no stop until odometer read 40+. So we kept going...I wouldn't settle for, "it stopped working for a 1/2 mile around lakes" riddle. "Sarg wouldn't buy it," I exclaimed. Sarg you wasn't not there. Oh, look who rode to work today, see pic. Yeah Momma Squirrel!! Blind Melon tonight!

AIN'T SNOW SLOPPY BLISS

Headed out b4 6:00am for a long PUG slog. It's been a 9-day re-charge since last hard effort ya know(Hillside)... fresh 1-3 inches around lakes, out & back on greenway, to Hopkins ect. Ride N Drool

Official Ride-N-Drool two wheel semi-pro mpls night life training schwagger. Teel gathered a bunch of local yahoo's to Ride about town, giggle, consume this and that. We did a treasure hunt at boom island and landed at secret base near theo for a swell time. CT even had Twin 6 and other swag to hand out to patrons. I kept asking how to win and was simply handed "looking good for jesus, fix-it-kit," did I do something wrong or right?

Yes there we're woobly peeps riding the dark streets of mpls last night. Good times...

Hillside Last PUG Snow Dance

Duncan on video after 1hr 47min. LCR PUG podium sweep. Hot Tub great, eyes still feel like clorine. Seriously. That & stomach issues am B4 race, all mess’d up ya'all. Not riding since Wed. for Sun. race & arriving back in town Sat. after air travel gives sludgyness. ...PUG RACE you say? OK. After dueling Goat around parking lot laughing and breaking cone ettiquitee, led a pretty slow warm up type race/start. Any, AND EVERY LCR sister in range yelled to gooooo faster Squirrel. Not often they see FG & I so close ahead. It was a fast group LCR training ride, fun. 2 fun. Soon enough it was points and pain time. Early into section 4 Larry said, I can lead if u want? I said not yet n pushed it faster. Jimmay yelling/collecting points and a Pirate was a reeling. So up a notch we went. A pull here and/a bobble there but FG basically was always there, on wheel, waiting for “the” moment. A few times almost happened but I hung on-trail to finish with a careful lead & win. It didn't seem like a fast race. Other than the stress and comments of Sarg right there waiting, pretty un-eventful. Hope I didn't jipp ya too much FG! Felt great afterward and had fun riding around lot on logs etc, after a hot tub of course. Thanks Zilla the crowd thrilla. The whole squirrel fam was there as wes Teel and other friends. LCR fiends went out for grub, all good, all good. Out. OH yeah, the bike picture was the overall race series trophy (courtessy of flex sauber), fixie, a ticket to road rash no doubt. I'm game.
